Another year has come and gone and, though a difficult year for many reasons, God remains faithful. A big challenge we faced was the drought that struck sub-Saharan Africa. The most vulnerable - the communities and families we work with - were hardest hit. We needed to act fast, otherwise many of our families wouldn’t survive. Churches across the globe responded and we were able to ensure food security, access to water, and other life-preserving necessities.

This year, a record number of teams left Canada to spend time with some of the most vulnerable communities across Africa. One of those Canadians, Jeff Giesbrecht, shares how going on a team had a huge impact on his life.
