Hands at Work UK Annual Gathering 2026

Whether you've been part of the Hands family for years or you're simply curious to find out more, we'd love to invite you to the Hands at Work UK Gathering.

This is a day to come together as a community - to reconnect with old friends, meet new people, hear stories from across Africa, celebrate what God is doing, and be encouraged for the journey ahead. There will be time to worship, reflect, share updates, enjoy good conversation and spend time with others who care deeply about seeing vulnerable children and communities flourish.

The Gathering is open to everyone. Whether you're a volunteer, supporter, advocate, church partner, donor, have travelled with Hands, or are just exploring what Hands at Work is all about, you are more than welcome.

Come and be part of a day of connection, encouragement, hope and shared purpose. We look forward to seeing you there.

Location: St Michael’s Church, Boldmere, Birmingham, B73 5RX

Cost: Free, but please book your place below

Lunch: A simple lunch will be provided, along with tea, coffee and refreshments available throughout the day. Please let us know any dietary requirements when booking. If you are able to bring any cake or biscuits to share, please let us know on the booking form. Thank you.

Travel, Parking & Accommodation

By car: Street parking is available.

By train: The nearest railway station is Wylde Green, which is approximately 0.5 miles from the venue. Wylde Green is accessible from Birmingham New Street (journey time less than 20 mins).

Accommodation: If you need accommodation, let us know and we'd be happy to suggest some local options.
