REGULARLY Intercede ON BEHALF OF THE MOST VULNERABLE

As a Hands at Work community in Africa and around the world, we are committed to joining together to bring the needs of the orphaned and widowed before our Heavenly Father through prayer. Through various platforms like our prayer app and our prayer room, the global Hands at Work community is able to remain united in prayer. We invite you to join us as prayer needs are regularly shared from Africa, bringing people deeper into what God is doing and inviting them to join in intercession.

Our History of Prayer

Since the beginning of Hands at Work, Christ has been the foundation of everything that we do, with prayer playing an integral part in deepening our intimacy and communion with Christ.

“She didn’t rush or hurry her time in prayer, but found contentment in letting her prayer life seep into the everyday moments, into her thoughts and even her time of rest, often waking in the night and feeling the need to get out of bed and pray. But not just feeling the need but having the resolve and the faith that her prayers mattered that much to do it.”

Our Prayer Rhythms

Gathering together on a daily basis is an integral part of the community of Hands at Work in Africa. These times are targeted specifically for building relationships with God and with one another. They are where smaller communities are knit closer together and individuals begin to look out for one another. The Hands at Work Community is built on the foundation of Christ and we are called to express our worship, prayers, and faith together as a community. We value our teams and visitors and encourage them to be a part of many of these meetings.
