Week 6 - The Example of Jesus: Relationships

The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighbourhood - John 1:14 (MSG)

God chose to appear in human form through His Son Jesus, to have a relationship with each of us. As He wanted to know us, so we are called to know others.

On Sundays, we pause to anticipate the coming of Easter Sunday and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

Jesus said, "The time has come for me, the Son of Man, to enter into my glory, and God will receive glory because of all that happens to me. And God will bring me into my glory very soon.

Pray for all international organisations and ministries working to urgently bring justice to the oppressed. Ask God to bless their work, making it fruitful and life-giving among the most vulnerable.

“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life” - Mark 10:29-30 (NIV)

Today, pray for the Management Teams of each International Office who are striving to live counter culturally in their countries. Pray they will sense God’s good and perfect plan for their lives as they seek to live according to Kingdom culture.
