The Kikula Life Centre in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has become a second home for Pauline* and her siblings, and is a place where they find joy and Christ-like love from volunteer Care Workers.
100 of the most vulnerable children in Kikula receive a daily meal, access to education and access to basic health care.

Through the love and support of their Care Workers, the most vulnerable children are being given a reason to smile.
The Care Workers are dedicated to visiting children in their homes on a regular basis, bringing support and encouragement.

“While I was in the Congo, I had the privilege of visiting one of the most vulnerable families living in Kikula community. In the family there are five children, four of whom come to the Care Point – the youngest is a small baby. The mother has epilepsy, limiting her ability to leave the home for fear of where she will fall. Additionally, the father struggles with a mental disability, preventing him from doing skilled labour to provide for his family. Though he is known as someone who will do any work in the community, the income he receives isn’t sufficient in providing for his family, despite his efforts. Please pray that God will provide for their basic needs. Pray that he will supply them with the food and water they need.”
