2024 ANNUAL REPORT

Dear Friends, As another year draws to a close, we are so grateful once again for the Lord’s faithfulness and steadfast love that is evident in our own lives, and also in the lives of each child, family and community impacted by the ministry of Hands at Work.

This year, we have been so encouraged by the sacrificial generosity to the Harvest Support campaign as plans have been, and continue to be, implemented to support the most vulnerable families in response to the unprecedented drought that was declared a state of emergency in many of the countries Hands at Work serves in. We also are so grateful for the ongoing generosity towards the continuing conflict in Goma which is soon to enter its third year. And this is all over and above your faithful support of just under 1400 of the most vulnerable children across 14 communities in 7 countries.

In the midst of ongoing global conflicts, uncertainty and instability, we are so grateful that our hope is not in the things of this world. In the words of David in Psalm 33:20-21, “We put our hope in the Lord; He is our protector and our help. We are glad because of Him; We trust in His holy name”.

Friends, we pray that in this Christmas season and in the year to come, you will know this Hope we have in the Lord – in your own lives and in the lives of your families, and we pray it will also be known in the lives of every child, Care Worker and Primary Caregiver we serve.
