There has been lots of growth in #Swaziland over the last few months. A second Care Point in Msengeni Community - known as Msengeni B - started at the beginning of October. This allows the children from the further side of the community to have a Care Point in their own area, limiting the long distances that they have to walk. There are six #CareWorkers serving the children. They have shown great initiative and passion in serving the most vulnerable in their community. #ServingTheMostVulnerable '

Baraka Community, #Zambia ⠀ ⠀ Eight-year-old Tamara* and her two sisters were taken in by their grandmother four years ago. In 2016, local Care Workers identified them as amongst the most vulnerable in their community and began visiting them in their home. The girls were malnourished and their grandmother was struggling to care for their needs. The girls began to attend the Care Point, but struggled to interact with the other children. Judith, their #CareWorker continues to encourage them on a daily basis and has seen improvement in their physical and emotional health over the past year.⠀ ⠀ #ServingTheMostVulnerable

⠀ Jeffery and Patricia Muntaka, pastors from Apostolic Faith Mission church, Mutare, have played a pivotal role in caring for the most vulnerable in #Zimbabwe. Farai Gunhe, Regional Support Team Leader, Zimbabwe shares about the journey that they have been on together: ⠀ ⠀ “They have made it personal. They donate clothing to our children and grandmothers as well as taking it upon themselves to use their personal resources to help not only the children but in one case a very sick grandmother. They have shared the vision of Hands at Work with other church leaders within their community. I feel like this is only the beginning. We need to build on this and continue to encourage and challenge other churches."⠀ ⠀ #ServingTheMostVulnerable

We finished the week sharing in a time of Holy Communion as we commissioned each other to fight on behalf of the most vulnerable. #Worship #Pray

Each day this week, we have participated in different sessions which focus on strengthening, evaluating and looking at ways that we can better care for the most vulnerable in the communities that we serve. #ServingTheMostVulnerable

This morning, we met for a time of worship and praise to our King! It was a beautiful time to pause from the busyness of the week and celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness in our lives. #Worship #Community #Pray

Every day this week, we will eat our meals together. This gives people the chance to fellowship and grow deeper in relationship with people that they otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to regularly connect with. #Community

Over the course of the week, we will be meeting daily in small groups to work through the book of Colossians. We encourage you to read this with us as we go deeper into scripture as a family. #Scripture #Pray

At the beginning of the week, 50 of the most vulnerable children in Houtbos Community began receiving a hot and nutritious meal daily, access to education and access to basic health care. Praise God! ⠀ ⠀ The Oshoek Local Office who support this community has specifically asked for prayer for the following: ⠀ ⠀ "As many of the Care Workers are vulnerable themselves, pray for God to provide for their needs; giving them the strength and courage that they need to persevere in tough circumstances. Pray for the children to see the Care Point as a place where they can find not just food but also love and hope in the midst of darkness. Ask God to give us the wisdom and energy that we need to support the community well."⠀ ⠀ #ServingTheMostVulnerable #Pray
