Prayer Requests - June 2016

THIS IS WHY WE WORK HARD AND CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE, FOR OUR HOPE IS IN THE LIVING GOD, WHO IS SAVIOUR OF ALL PEOPLE, SPECIFICALLY THOSE WHO BELIEVE.  – 1 Timothy 4:10

Greetings,

Kachele Village (Zambia) + the Hub (South Africa)

Please continue to pray for the men’s Monday morning prayer group, that it will be a place where they will be challenged, supported, encouraged, and recommit their reliance on God for everything.

Pray also for the ladies’ prayer group, that they will intercede for each other and for

God’s Kingdom to come, and that they will be encouraged and supported.

Pray for our Community Prayers to be a huge blessing to our communities, in building relationships with our children and Care Workers, and encouraging and supporting their needs.

Pray the Hands on Deck meetings would be Holy Ground – a place where we would be moved to tears of joy, as we hear what God is doing amongst us and our communities across Africa and outside Africa.

Pray for our Small Group meetings, for all God has done and continues to do as they study the ‘Jesus We Know Bible Study’. Pray each one’s life will be enriched, and genuine discipleship will continue to develop.

Pray for our leaders who provide leadership within the Hands Community. Pray Kachele Village and the Hub would be communities that will grow in maturity and display Biblical hospitality to others.

Macadeira Community, Mozambique

Pray for the community of Macadeira as it has been facing the devastating effects of the unrest breaking out in the country.

Pray that all who have fled their homes due to the fighting will be able to return to safety.

Pray all the children who have fled and gone missing will be found, as many have gone days without food.

Widespread Drought and Food Crisis

Continue to pray for the drought-stricken areas as the need is overwhelming, as more children, grandmothers and Care Workers struggle to survive.

Pray for the food crisis in Zimbabwe and Mozambique – for maize to be secured for the rest of the year, and that it would not be stolen or ruined. Pray for the team in Zimbabwe as they roll out the drought relief programme, that it will be well received and well communicated.

As the drought has affected many areas in Malawi, pray that God would intervene since all commodities are going up.

Pray for Swaziland as the drought continues and people are suffering.

Please pray for our communities in Kabwe, Zambia that have been affected by the drought (Miswa, Susu, Baraka, Chisamba, Malokota and Nissi).

In Jesus’ Name, Oumie
