Responsibility and Key Performance Areas:

  • Supervise five staff members
  • Books to Trial Balance
  • Financial Reporting & Contract Management
  • Ensure all expenses are allocated in accordance with budgets of different funders
  • Ensure all funders receive their financial reports timely
  • Prepare monthly management reports for internal use
  • Year-end procedures and annual audit

Skills Requirements:

  • B.Com Degree
  • 3-5 Years accounting & financial management experience of a large entity
  • Computer literate (Excel & Pastel essential; Pastel Payroll experience an advantage)

Skills: The ideal candidates would be a couple (as both male and female mentorship is required) with significant cross-cultural experience, preferably including Africa. They would be mature followers of Christ and would have experience in training, perhaps in a YWAM-like environment.

Time Commitment: 2 years

Ability to research: primarily extracting concealed information from a number of sources, including field observations, community worker interviews, and various written documents. Ability to work to deadlines without constant supervision.
